Every soul will taste death

Allah has said in the Qur’aan: “Every soul will taste death.” From this verse we know that death is such a thing that you can’t escape from even if you are in a house, which is built with metal walls, and has a massive padlock. Death will not only come when hair and the beard turn white, but it can come at any time, even when you are a baby, or an old person or a teenager or of middle age. Even if you are a king, a Prime Minister or a leader of one of the tribes.

Death also came to the Prophet(PBUH) and to the companions of the Prophet(PBUH) , so if death can come to such great personalities, who are we to be so unmindful of it?

Re: Every soul will taste death

death is a really very nice concept.
the end of life, in terms of what the life been lived is like... and what is going ahead of us, to akibet for getting us a place in heavens, is very serious and complex set of conceptual reality. no one is immortal.
questions regarding the Maker being immortal or this world restarting all over again are debate-able queries which no one knows about, beyond theoretial predictions. death can come at any time. and it does.
there si so much that death has to offer - peace and freeing the soul from all links with this world.
its a graduation to another aspect of life.

think about when a person is alone and is very old - like a grand parent who is frail as well.
what is there next step of advancement in life, when they have witnessed all hardships or happiness of life? spirtually, it would be elegantly and with dignity, getting back to where we all come from - from out Maker onto thsi earth.
death may not come in the most comfortable of ways, to different people and living creatures. but it does come. and it comes to us when we sometimes know that it will come, sometimes people dont know and suddenly it takes a loved one away.
when it come to everyone, may it come in peace. amen

best,
Dushwari

Peace mia ki dua

So true ... it is often a bone of contention that people recoil at the very thing that is the most surest in our lives ... death. We might as well like it when it comes ... in order to like it, we know we gotta prepare for it.

No one likes going to a party with one hour notice to arrive ... there is no time to sort out the dress, who to leave the kids with, what transport shall be taken ... no wonder people fear death it always comes uninvitedly upon us!
