u certainly dont see many MBA’s walking around in the west but in Pak every next man is an MBA

There was a time when Pakistan had a pool of only 15 MBA's graduating every year. It is officially a joke now in Pakistan.

Well, i am an MBA. There was a time when pakistan was known as the land of Doctors and Engineers, then MBA and now graphic designers, interior designers, fashion designers.

i think its sort of fashion thing :p

Anyway, i didnt do MBA for fashion, it was something i saw myself fitting in.

I heard that there is at least one college in Lahore which has an MBA program which is totally based on western curriculum. Can some one tell me what the name of that college is ?

Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)
Very good infrastructure, excellent faculty. Every prof. is a graduate from a Western University, with the exception of one.
They have some close ties to that McGill Univ. in Montreal.

I know LUMS require its students to pass GMAT at the time of admission. Ofcourse it is an expansive but then you can see the difference b/w lUMS and all other small schools that offer mba and stuff.

Other then the entry tests.. the minimum requirement is a C average (or 70%) in 3 (A-level) courses.

no LUMS doesn't require GMAT, it requires passing its own test which is the LMAT. The LMAT is a lot easier than the GMAT.

LUMS takes GMAT test results as well as LMAT - which is LUMS own test for MBA Admissions and btw not that easy, just totally designed in a different way than GMAT.

SAT I and II for Undergrad admissions

and LGAT for Masters programs other than MBA.
