I have a question, what kind of store sells buttons? I need few for my winter coat.

Go to a fabric store like JoAnn Fabrics or Vogue. Or you can go to Walmart...they have a fabric section too.

I would say a fabric store, like JoAnn Fabrics, or Hancock Fabrics (if you are in the US)

u can go to any drugstore like cvs or walgreens etc. they have little sewing kits (travel size) with needles, threads and buttons, very handy

That is the best idea so far. You can poke your finger with that needle when you sew the buttons back on that coat.

well it depends on wha type of button you are looking for. u can get something basic at any fabric store, for something special u may need to go to specialized stores.
majority of the dry cleaners will get you a generic button and put it on for u. easy does it

BTW I bought a new one last year, It got ripped from insde. Like inside layer from shoulder and stuff.
