Off course I am talking about millions of Indian Muslims who have rejected all ideas of progress as anti-Islamic…on the other hand these millions of illiterate Muslims have never read Quran.
As well I am talking of Muslims of Bangladesh, south Asia and Africa…countries which are basic producers of Muslims …by which growth, you have to decide.

I thought,..Rvikz, during his discussion with me about Indian muslims, said that they are the most moderate and a highly educated muslims in the Muslim world,…Now I am confused,..whom should I listen to,…

Whether they read quran or not,…I don’t know,..but they are no differnt than those christians who never read bible either,..and living in worse conditions than Muslims.

Every religion has followers who doesn’t meet all the critirea which we set to call them follower of their respective religion…It happens…

Frozen_fire - I just meant when including Ahmadi's that there was a population that didn't consider them Muslim and they were persecuted.

I am amazed that when overall statistics are thrown out all Muslims are brothers to bolster the numbers, but on the ground, how many times do you see people throwing out there that Shia are not true Muslims, Sunni's are not true Muslims, Ahmadi's are not true Muslims, that Indian Muslims are better, that Arab Muslims are not followers, etc, etc.

So, I don't buy the x amount of Muslims growing daily routine until I see that Muslims accept each other and they aren't busy killing each other off.

EDIT: Sorry, the above sounded harsh, but really it wasn't, just blunt :)

You have started an unnecessary debate by putting up non-relating things together.

I pick up the last point which really approaches…..let us study if Islam is a fast growing religion and how!

Islam picked up a rapid growth in mid centuries when village after village were accepting Islam, where the ruler had become a Muslim or some Muslim invader conquered the land, especially in central Asia after Arab countries.

Tell how such mass conversations really took place? I am sure that people were illiterate or semi illiterate and how come that every one of them first read Quran and voluntarily accepted Islam?

Second option is that some Imams convinced the masses. Just imagine… no loudspeaker… means the Imams met each of them in person, and after en-mass people accept Islam….looks very odd.

And why mass conversions have vanished today……hence Islam must have an automatic appeal to convince the educated people……but the results are entirely different?

Islam is a fast growing religion….by birth rate or by conversion?

u can cry as much as u want at this thought but the fact is that islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world…i know how much i hurts for u to accept this fact bro but then again anything to do with progress of pakistan or islam hurts u

tell me any situation when Ahmadi’s were in fight with either sunnis or shias? but the fact is sunni’s burns ahmadi’s houses or sometimes they dont give ahmadis good job eventhough if that ahmadi deserves it…and Ahmadis take no action. They go to foreign countries for better future..but they dont fight back.

Off course Islam is a fast growing religion. No doubt.
If this growth winning is by conversion or by birth birth rate is my question.

Why mass conversions are gatherings of past when people were illiterate, could be compelled or lured?
