Have you ever visited a place so serene, and to your liking that you just about packed up and moved there. Not really, but almost…?
Reason I ask is, we’re always flying off to vacation paradises, but I wonder if any of us have actually taken the plunge and done it. Or seriously considered it.
Please also name the place if you don’t mind, so the rest of us may be inspired to visit it too.
Re: Ever visited a place so nice, you seriously thought about relocating?
Vacations never give you the true reality of how it's like to live in a place. So making a decision to relocate based on an awesome vacation alone would be kind of foolish. Having said that, it can definitely serve as an inspiration that should be followed by a LOT of research about the place, before you seriously consider to move.
I saw a tv programme in which they talked about day to day problem of peoples living in venice.Even some residents of venice want to move out as its costly affair to live there...e.g. if person buys a refrigerator.. that refrigerator has to be transported by a boat ...so you can see their problem...

Well for me its Goa. I fell in love with the place the first time I visited about 15 years ago, Its then that I vowed to retire in paradise. I finally made good on my vow and have last November purchased a beautiful apartment by the Mandovi river and opposite the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary.

Well, never really seriously considered, but my really liked Mackinac Island in Michigan saying he would love to retire there one day. But the practical implications would probably go against it.
