A funny situation happened to us in my house in Pakistan.
This is how it goes.
A heedgarah came to our house and danced like a hula dancer. He said in urdu, Oh my child! Please open the door. My little sister came up to me screaming and got me petrified on the floor… I yelled at her for doing it and went outsid and found the heedjaara dancing and begging for money. My servant told me that she didnt want to open it. I called my mum to give the beggar at least 5 rupees and these 2 other heedgarahs came to the gate and said, hey i want money 2 baji. I told my mum not to give me money as they looked like they were all together…my mom asked them and they were like no no no we are seperate. But when ammi was in the house to get money i saw them talking about a plan. Those little pests.
Did any one here had a heedjaara coming 2 their house? i am new to pakistan and i have seen some recently…

I heard from my cousins that heedjaaras are also thiefs. When you open the door, they grab you and when u grow up u have to be like them? Also in tv i saw one taking off his wig. steal a mans motorcycle and keys and rides away.... that would be funny in tv but not in real life

My mom never opens the door. She just goes over the gate and then give them money. She doesn't trust them by making her open the door. I never opened the door ever since my cousins told me about them. Thats why we say, "Kohn hai?" before opening da door.

Around my area though there arent that many heedjaaras. Sometimes they come once a while
