ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

The theme behind “The incredible Hulk”

Every person has super human strength and there have been stories of people, mothers lifting up cars to save their trapped children, men on ships picking up unexploded bombs and throwing them into sea.

When I was small a dog chased me, I have never run so fast in my life! Witnesses claim they have never seen anyone run so fast. hahah I laugh now but all i remember was the wind rushing against my face and my little legs moving like lightening.

The other time was when a group of boys 14, 15 year olds thought it would be a good idea to beat me up with baseball bats. I run for my life into an abandoned garage. I closed the door but it had no lock on it. I pushed the door against these 3 boys who were much older than me and they couldnt budge the door open. At the end they left but my hands/arms were still frozen and it took some time to get back to normal.

My grandfather got attached by a bull once and my father managed to wrestle the bull to the ground with great ease. So do you people believe in this human strength that we all have hidden away? any experiences?

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

i once ran and ran and ran and ran and ran...does that count? :)

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

Ohhh I’ve experienced it many times.

Once when I was around 13, had a fight with my brother (5 years older than me and about a foot taller at the time). I was so mad, I pinned him to the ground. Seeing how his life was in danger, he fled to his room and locked his door. I went after and tore the door down  Just kicked the hell out of it. I was only 13. And it was a strong oak door.

Even today, that patched up door bears witness to this incident. :snooty: :hehe:

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

^i thought we were talking about superhuman strength. This is the point where the thread will be derailed. Thanks Stu.

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

^there, happy now?

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

Once was wrestling with a friend on the bed. He was lying down with my left arm under him. I managed to pick him with one arm and throw him over the other side of the bed. Mind you, the end of the bed through which he fell was on my right, while he was lying on my left. So it was'nt just a mere push, I had to bring him all the way across and throw him.

I thought that was wierd. It really pissed him off LOL.

^^

P.S: :dhimpak:

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

One time I threw a rock up in the air at a flock of birds and it hit one.

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

I got out of bed this morning.

It may seem like a small thing to you, but when you get older you'll understand.

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

As they say its always mind over matter ... if you have the mental capacity your body can be pushed to the limits.

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

Its true what they say, fear gives us wings.

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

I once slept for 23 hours!

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

I suppose the fact that we can perform these feats, the superhuman powers do already reside within us though in a dormant state. Now we can choose the longer and not so risky way to realize those powers i.e. mind/body training, meditation etc. Or we can go through the shorter and more risky way such as having somebody point a gun at us. :)

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

^ didnt you run a mile from a gay person in Pakistan once?

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

super human strength…hmm…done a number of things that ppl have gone  at…

lifted up a toyota camry clean off the ground from the back, and held it up for 30 secs…cuz i was challanged to do so…doubt i’ll be able to do it now at will  haven’t worked out in a long time…perhaps if its a life n death thing, i might have the strength to do that again…heh

another one, lifted up a person once and threw him 10 feet away effortlessly…i’m a calm and patient person (anyone who has met me can vouch for that :D), this incident, i wasn’t involved directly, it was 2 friends…i just got slightly pissed off…not mad completely, just a lil pissed cuz the fight had turned ugly and was unfair…the 2 friends of mine had got into a fight with someone, and the next thing u know they not only got ganged up by 5 people, out came knives and what not…i stepped in when one of 'em was charging my friend with a knife from the back while he was fighting with 2 other guys…and that was the guy who got that treatment from me :stuck_out_tongue: i didn’t hit anyone, just challenged 'em to bring it on, but everyone (cept my friend who couldn’t see the guy charging at him with the knife) had seen what had happened, how easily i had just picked him up and thrown him so far…and just stepped back after that :hehe:

i’m a big guy, and was in shape then, so i dunno if either one would be classified as super human strength…still something that ppl go  at nonetheless

Re: ever experienced/witnessed super human strength

Nope it never came to that. I stuck out a thumb to hitch hike a ride a luckily since i was in Pakistan the next person to pass on a motorbike stopped for me. Although you can say its the situation that led me to force my luck to go my way (another superhuman trait) and make someone stop for me. Or in short, where theres a will theres a way.
