^ I know, I didn't want 4 days either. But my in-laws and parents wanted a valima as it's sunnah. I do like the idea of having a small dinner with close fam and relatives. That way I get to dress up but not be a dulhan again. My case is different than yours in I don't want to be dolled up too many days lol. It also works out fine for me because I get these 4 days, then I leave the country right away. So I won't be having dawats and stuff that normally couples do after wedding. So in that sense, having 4 days where I'm the centre of attention doesn't seem too bad. And no, I'm not in Lahore. I'm actually in Toronto.
