The home of a mixed race Muslim family in County Armagh has been attacked by a gang of up to ten men.
The men used baseball bats and iron bars to break windows and doors at the house in the mainly loyalist Enniskeen area of Craigavon at about 0230 BST on Saturday.
The family have been targeted before.
Six children were in the house at the time of the attack, including a severely disabled boy.
White Nationalist Party leaflets had recently been distributed in the area, stoking fears of al Qaeda-style terrorists.
"The wife of the family had air rifle pellets fired at her in recent weeks.
Just as disturbingly, Muslims at school have been abused and singled out for their beliefs and Islamic values leading to confusion in the minds of young Muslims; one 6 year old child came home from school saying he had been taunted. His mother said that her son came home and asked ‘are we Protestant or are we Catholic?’ She replied, “you are a Muslim”. The boy then replied 'I know I’m a Muslim, but am I Protestant or am I Catholic?’ Such are the effects of a non-Islamic environment upon our children, where their thoughts, their issues, their reasoning unravels the sincere efforts of the Muslim parent.
How ironic Muslims in Northern Ireland have been harassed under the label “terrorist”. In the land suffering from terrorism and bombings for past 50 years.
The blatant attacks upon this family in Northern Ireland are sadly part of a wider catalogue of attacks and vilification in recent times of Islam and Muslims throughout Britain.

The Muslims are now the new bad guys according to America and its new puppet Blair of Britain.
The russians where called commies and reds and all other threatning names to scare the naive public in western media and there films of the time where very anti russian.
Now it the muslims going through the same old american propoganda this al qaida i speak to many muslims they all say who is this al qaida, the only one that seem to know anything about them is the Pentagon very suspicious indeed.
In Ireland terrorism as practised by the IRA and other groups for the last 35 years is called a freedom struggle, so I am not surprised by this sort of bigotry.

The first to feel the heat were the women wearing the hijab Islamic headscarf.
"I wear the hejab and my daughter covers her face. I certainly don't encourage her to do it, it's her choice. But it leads to all the usual insults in the street such as 'Bin Laden' and 'terrorist'."
The first attacks came from local teenagers, then older men. Sonia was hit in the back by a pellet gun. Her disabled son was chased down the street. A shot gun was fired into their home. The children were regularly jeered on their way to and from school.
Leaflets distributed in the area proclaimed:
*"We are proud of our British culture ... we do not need mosques, temples or Islamic terrorism here in Ulster." *
Another poster distributed proclaimed: This is Ulster not Islamabad NO MOSQUES HERE
Obviously these attacks are because the family is muslim, and the current wave of government and media onslaught against muslims worldwide
