Euthanasia is a serious question for many doctors…it is very much discussed in EU…However,I want to know your opinion or even maybe expirence…So,what do u think-Euthanasia is good or bad?

I think people should have a right to choose what they think is right for them. No personal experience in it as I am not a doctor and not dead yet.

thx for welcoming...i know this is serious problem...today we had disscusion in class about it n we r going to contionue in Th as well.
in my area most of ppl thx,tht it is good,so it seems strange tht it is forbitten but why- i've no idea...
it is hard,but im just asking for opinion...:)

I believe in religion and my understanding is its wrong...i believe that god gives life and takes life when he pleases...so you'll die anyway...why commit suicide and take it yourself and find yourself accountable for your sin...

I agree with you NBN...theoretically.
Heard about how my aunt had to visualise my uncle's suffering and pain and could not do anything to relieve him. Very difficult to choose when in those circumstances. A most painful decision..
Difficult to answer phiona unless faced with that situation. I would probly say No - if in coma (and pain-free) but Dont Know - if the situation was different. I seen eyes of my grandma who suffered from stroke and could not communicate or move...but she seemed to know what was going on around her...how do you perform euthanasia on someone who is aware...and yet cannot communicate what he/she wants? Every circumstance is different...and heart-wrenching.

God created us...our life belongs to god...but isn't tht we play the role of god if we prescribe euthanasia or assisted suicide?
however,if a man lost both of his legs and arms,n 90% of his skin is burned...what to do if that patient is asking for euthanasia coz he is suffering...

we had the exact same discussion in our philosophy class 3/4 days ago and some of the students agreed with it , some didn't.
what i would say is that if a patient cant take the pain anymore s/he should have the right to decide what s/he wants to do with his/her life... this right should only be given if doctor's are 100% sure that the patient cannot recover from whichever condition they are in...
If the patient even has like 2% chance of getting better, than euthanasia should not be allowed and everything should be done to make the patient in better condition. Just my 2 cents there.
