As for the overall tournament well right from the beginning i have thought that the Czeck’s will win it and nothing will change my mind on that front i think - they are the best team in the world by absolutely miles at the moment.

Greece throughly deserve to go through. France never looked like getting a goal. Santini should have brought Saha earlier on or maybe started in Trezeguet place who has played crap throughout. He barely touched the ball today and Saha created one or two half chances in little time he had.

That’s blown things wide open. I thought France didn’t want it enough, when a side loses it’s hunger it’s the beginning of the end. It was an unispired performance and Greece were worthy winners.
It’s the end of the French era 
Holland and czech must go through to make semifinals a bit interesting. Otherwise Portugal-Sweden and Denmark-Greece semifinals make a yucky reading for a neutral.

Hope they make it to the final and play a match similar to the group match. That still stands as the best match of the tournament so far IMO. If they can do it again in final, atleast this messed up Euro cup will be saved.
