Yeah remind me of a clear cut chance France got or say produced apart from that goal. In second hald, England had to defend as France were supposed to attack. Yes England defended too much but still the result shuld have been a draw.

I watched the semi-final of 88 between Holland and Germany few weeks ago, it was a classic match. This time Holland has an edge over Germany and can beat them again.

how much do you want to bet that Rooney will mess up and get sent off in this tourney like Becks did when he got sent off due to his idiotic kick. the kid has too much of a temper, acting like a lout in major matches is a huge liability
I am still unsure about picking Heskey, I mean Fowler would be a better choice..I mean if Heskey cant score goals, the least he could do is make stupid fouls which allow other teams to score.

It was so funny... I was sitting in a room with a bunch of Pakistani and Bangladeshi England supporters, having declared my own support for France before the match started.
I was being lambasted for the first 90 minutes of the match, and then, in the last 3 minutes everything flipped over like I've never seen before. I was up in the air screaming "Viiiiiiiiiiiiiive la France!!!!!!!" in a room that was otherwise practically deafended by the sound of shocked silence :D

Like everyone else, their all speachless.
France kept pressuring throughout the game, and they did deserve to win it. Why? Because they contained England in their half for majority of the game. England was eventually going to do the mistake.
You may argue the fact that possession was almost equal, but England's possession was only defending and lofting the ball away. France made a lot of opportunities but England defended well. (Especially the new lad King).
And can someone please smack that little brat Wayne Rooney in the face? Jez.. he sure did piss me off. Did he not get his bottle today?
