http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2012/12/ebooksapple.jpgAfter the European Commission accepted offers from Apple and four publishers to free up e-book pricing restrictions in December 2012, its now accepted Penguin’s commitment to do the same. Penguin will end its favorable agreements with Apple, and “most-favored nation” clauses will be dropped for five years. Most importantly, e-book retailers will now be able to control pricing and discounts of Penguin’s catalog for two years.
