oh i am not arguing right of way, i justthink its piss poor planning by the gods of traffic planning for the city, but then they are the same geniuses who decided to out a tollstop on teh highway between one of the busiest airports in the world and one of the largest cities. Not only that, they split up 3 lanes into like a dozen+ for toll and then want to squeeze that, other merging roads into 3 lanes within a mile and then merge in another major highway another couple of miles down the road. so they dont get much points for common sense.
as a kid I read jokes about excuses given by ppl about accidents, and one of them comes to mind
I watched with concern as the well dressed kind old gentleman bounced off the bonnet of my car.

that can be soooooo frustrating.. but then i compare it to the traffic in pak and take a deep breath and feel all better ..

I like those overhead pedestrian bridges. They are so cool.
A bit more costly than painting black and white lines on the road.

traffic in Pakistan is a whole diff ball game, I dont drive in Pakistan because I dont have that much patience.

although etiquettes of ped crossings vary by nation. In UK i have seen a gradual decline but to this day people stop at crossings to allow pedestrians to go through first, even if the pedestrians is just approaching the crossing. although its less commion than it was 10 years ago or 20 years ago.
etiquettes for ped crossing in Pakistan appear to be to honk loudly, curse out, and zoom by as close as possible to pedestrians without hitting them, or agar thorra bohot dha,,a lag jaye toh koi muzaiqa naheen, pedestrians will rloudly relate the certain familiarity they have with selected female members of teh drivers family in response.

yeah 7 year itch khatam ho kar bhi 3-4 saal ho gaye hain respectively..unless it has become a chronic itch :)
