So what should be some “rules” of the multinick?
I’ll start with one…
If you know who the multinick is, under NO circumstances are u to “out” them.*
Exceptions: if they’re flaming and attacking others. THen its ok.
Any others?

Don't pretend to be a girl from 1 nick and guy from others, thus decieving masses. That's just sick. Joking is fine as long as the other person knows who you really are :o

Whether boy or a girl, don't be hating with one nick and friendly with the other nick. If you don't like someone or don't talk to them with one nick, don't talk to them with the other nick.

So basically, just stay your own gender. and dont pick on ppl.
So lets say someone "guesses" who you are...how do u react to it? to make it seem that ur not getting too defensive but u dont want ppl to get the wrong idea?
I think i've killed any chances i may have had for a multinick....since i'm being so cautious :D

I dont usually keep “secret” multinicks b/c I am too easily found out.
first time i was “outed” b/c i made a simple statement and someone said "Sara? 
"…that really pissed me off.
Second time…well i kinda deserved it, i was being a hater..
and third time, supposedly i kept signing on and off w/ my other nick… thats hwo the person found otu 
oh but he didnt say anything, i had commented to someone with the other nick and i was replying til i realized i was signed into this one. That really messed it up.

And whatever you do, please please please do not talk to your own multinick when you’re bored and pretend like it’s someone real. Go out, do something constructive

When I was a mod, even though I knew people's nicks, I had to stay professional and not even hint to them who they are (unless they were obvious like Mrs. Saieen and Sara516). However, there were people who found out a couple of people's multinicks (including mine) and they were giving hints all over the place making a big deal that they know who I (and other people) are :D I don't think I've ever openly busted anyone just because they had a multinick and I think they deserve the privacy because that was the whole point (to stay anonymous) when they made the multinick.

Why can't someone play Dr. Jakyell and Mr. Hyde using multinicks ? Isn't it the whole point have fun and let others have fun off of you ?

^ Sometimes someone will use it for other purposes, like to vent about smething that they feel they cant under their own nickname. Want to be totally anonymous and all. Sometimes its for fun as well
