KA- that has been my observation too, but its limited to karachi, I have never seen a pathan beg in karachi, period.
maybe in peshawar its not the case but just because they are begging in peshawar does ot make ppl pathan

I agree its very unlikely but we can't say never. Have I seen ? yes.
Living in canada working on the store I have seen half million sikh prostitutes.

I hate to bring up the issue of skin colour but I've only seen dark skinned individuals 'begging' (for lack of a better word) in Karachi. I'm not sure if its cause they haven't showered and the skin is full of mitty or if thats their true skin colour.
If its the latter then i'd venture to say they are our muhajir brethren.

perhaps but it could also be due to being outdoors all the time, majority of the sweepers are punjabi christians but they are very dark,

I am really surprise that you are making such generalization about sikh women. Sikhs are very close to muslims when it comes to these matters. Strict sikh women even wear a proper hijjab kind of thing on their head.
