So I have noticed that with pretty much every ethnicity comes preconceived notion that have become so widespread over the years that people sometimes start judging based on them. I have come across the following:
-Pathans - Hot headed, don’t always think, dumb and stupid, honest and hospitable
-Memons / Gujratis - Penny pinchers, philanthropic
-Sikhs - Kinda like Pathans, considered dumb, very warm, big hearted
-Punjabis (Pakistani) - Paindo ppl, full of life
-Black people - Uneducated, criminals, Full of life, love music
I do not intend any offence to anyone belonging to any of the communities mentioned above but did not want to be politically correct as it requires and honest discussion. I have heard people mention this in daily conversations, online or just how people are represented in TV shows and movies. These are the only ones I could think of. What others have you come across and do you think they truly reflect the type of people belonging to these communities?
