Balochistan is boiling for the past decade, we cannot put the blame on the current dispensation. During the past few weeks MQM has been projected as RAW agents. Now with the alleged changes in the PCEC routes, ANP is out on the street protesting against it. Some nationalists are likening PCEC as Punjab China Economic Corridor. The Power Minister is openly threatening to cut off power supplies of KPK and Sindh (on the pretext of non payment of dues). MQM, ANP and other nationalist parties going back to their ethnic basis is not a good omen for federal politics. With the polarization increasing there’s no effort in the highest echelons of the present government to put the rumors/fears of those who are opposing some actions of the present government to rest. This government does not have people to calm things down but has plenty of others to douse oil on fire by labelling others as traitors if they question their motives.
