Mr. antibol, 150 years of subsevience to the Raj with not even one instance of sacrifice (like an hour of imprisonment in British prisons for challenging the mightiest power of that time) cannot be equated with 150 years of ordeal and sacrifices for principles. I never said the feudals/tribal chief only served British. They always served the prevalent powers no matter whether Mughals, British, etc. by compromising the interests of their people.
The level of recruitement from Pashtuns in the British Indian Army was historically lower compared to Punjabis. During WW I, Pashtuns refused to fight against Muslim Turks in Galilpuli and other war fronts. At the end of the war, one British general remarked:
"Punjabis were steadfast like a rock in the service of the Raj but a big question mark hangs over Pathan".
Due to this, Pashtuns were perceived to be politically unreliable and so were purged from British Indian Army.
After the War Punjabi Sikhs also became politically unreliable because British thought they have become exposed to communistic influences. So their numbers in army were also cut down. To compensate for this, the ratio of PMs i.e. Punjabi Muslamans was increased.
Although, during WW II other ethnicities were also recruited because of the high levels of manpower-requirements for war, still, at the end of the WW II, Punjabi Muslmans emerged the only ethnicity that had the highest representation in the Combined British Indian Army.
Due to partition, this representation became more disproportionate in favor of Punjabis.

Far from the truth, in fact the opposite is true…try asking a punjabi for a favor and if you are not one…good luck, but if you try speaking a little broken punjabi with them they’ll die for you…
Similarly, if you are a bhayya from Karachi, try opening up a small business/shop in Punjab, and the impracticality and hostility that comes along with it…and contrast that with the numerous naagori millak shops that permeate all of Karachi…

Im a Punjabi who cant speak Punjabi very well so usually end up speaking Urdu, and yet people in Punjab were generally nice to me..
Sometimes they were nice without me opening my mouth.
I once was standing in a store where two guys were eating from the same plate, and I just watched them for a second because I thought it looked a little strange, and they noticed me and without saying a word the guy asked if I wanted to join in.. Offcourse, I declined, but only for hygenic reasons..
Point is, lets not generalize…
i would say im muslim first, kashmiri second, then pakistani and anything else later
i mean why care about race- i speak nearly all pakistans major languages except Pashto & sindhi but why is that race is important- we should make ourselves muslims first (which in my opinion is same thing as being called a human)
Your observation is absolutely RUBBISH at best, you might be right about Punjabis being too dominant in Pakistan but claiming that Punjabis won’t help a non-punjabi is totally baseless and biased. Your observation is based on assumptions more than anything, i mean i can explain this with lots of real life stories but i won’t bother spending an hour on that because your mentality is still going to be same.
Are you trying to tell me that Punjabis only help Punjabis whereas Mohajirs, Sindhis etc go out of their way to help Punjabis??? Based on some of my personal experiences a Mohajir will rather help an Indian(muslim) than a pakistani Punjabi muslim.
BTW i don’t give a damn if you are a Mohajir, Sindhi, Punjabi or whatever, i will treat everyone the same way.
The problem is that everyone thinks they are PERFECT and others are jahil, uneducated, unfaithful, proud, untrustworthy etc etc etc..........The fact is that us DESIS are more RACISTS than GORAS and ethnicity is a HUGE issue and it will remain a big issue for at least next 100 YEARS till we get educated and forget about all this crap.

Punjab was under British control from 1860 to to 1947 (87 years and not 150 as you say) while Bihar, Bangal and Banglore were serving Brits ever since East India company set foot on the Indian shores (for more than 250 years).
Punjab also protected Frontier from Afghan plunder until 1910 when Brits created North Western Frontier Province.

Punjabis are some of the nicest people in all of South Asia... Even on the Indian sides, I think its the Punjabis that are among the coolest people..
Problem is that people overlook the many good Punjabis, and focus mainly on the few Bad ones and use them to generalize about all Punjabis..
Try calling them ballheads ‘cool’ in front of a Punjabi Mohajir from East Punjab whose ancestors saw with their own eyes the Sikhs massacring our people… Sikhs ruthlessly slaughtered or burnt alive trains full of crying babies, wailing women and crippled elderly who just wanted to get to their haven Pakistan to live their lives in security and be able to practice their faith with freedom, many many Punjabi Muslim women were driven into committing suicide by jumping into wells to escape rape from the filthy Sikhs, some Muslim women were even abducted and kept behind, it makes my blood boil to think some ballhead marrying them.. During their rule as well Muslims and their culture suffered, our Mosques were used as donkey stables and drug warehouses… Don’t be so blinded by their entertainments and common language, they’ve still the same amount of venom, nothing has changed only we are letting our guard down against everyone…

It was Pashtun Ahmed Shah Abdali who destroyed Hindu Marathas in the field of Panipat for mistreating Indian Muslims in general and Punjabi Muslims in particular. Ahmed Shah Baba was invited by the Indian Muslim saint Shah Wali Ullah to protect Indian Muslims from Marathas who were treating Punjabi Muslim as slaves and their women as concubine, their mosques were used as Estables for their horses. In 1947 during the migration Sikhs killed and raped thousands of Punjabi Muslims, again it were Pashtuns who got their revenge from Sikhs in Kashmir in 1948 – Pashtuns only killed Sikhs not Hindus in 1948 to get revenge for Punjabi Muslims.
But what we got in return from Punjabis: **Ahmed Shah Abdali was a bandit, and the killing of two and a half million Pashtuns on both side of Durand line. **We will never forget this.
Before they killed an individual Sikh, did they try to establish whether or not that individual Sikh ever did any harm to a Muslim, or did they kill some Sikhs who never did harm to Muslims?
Sikhs were in the Maharaja Army, they were resisting plus Paki government brainwashed our village people that all sikhs were bad because they have killed muslims and they need to be killed.

Employing tribals in 1948 war was a big mistake, as soon as these tribal men found some war spoils they took them and left, this resulted in lot of area that was snatched from Indians, being taken back by Indians. Soe of them even committed gross atrocities like cutting the ears of women.
That’s true.. Plenty of Mohajir origin people in Lahore, most actually settled in Punjab first when they migrated and later moved to Karachi but a lot of them stayed behind..
