They have already shown Hindko and Siraiki speaking belts of NWFP as parts of the Punjab (DI Khan is on Punjab side, so is Hazara) and we don’t wish to assimilate anyone except for whom it is natural to be assimilated.

Nuristanis, Pashais, Chitralis, and Kohistanis have almost all their contacts and links with outside world passing through Pashtun ethnic regions, which will have an impact on demographies. Their cultures must be preserved/protected.

Well good, as long as you recognize that we don’t want to join Afghanistan, then go on your merry way planning independence. As for the other groups you listed above I would ask you a question. Why would you assume anyone would willingly accept annexation from Afghanistan. I can’t think of another nation on this planet (not even African countries like Sierra Leone or Liberia) are as thorough failures as Afghanistan in terms of critical factors like economics and stability. O the muslim ummah indeed!
