The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Movement (JSQM) has announced a strike against
the inflow of the Swat refugees into Sindh. MQM has backed that
strike call. Doesn’t this act shows that the JSQM and MQM have both
given into an extreme form of ethnic chauvinism and racism? Instead
of banning the entry of IDPs into Sindh, shouldn’t the MQM and JSQM
have helped to set up refuge for the Pushtuns that have been
displaced by the fighting. The MQM supported the military operation
but they are not ready to shoulder any responsibility in helping
those innocent people that have suffered as a result of the conflict
between the Taliban and the army.
The Pushtuns are paying an extremely heavy price for the policies of
the establishment of supporting religious fundamentalism. The
establishment created the Taliban and now they are the ones
destroying the Taliban. But in the midst of all this chaos it is been
the ordinary people that have suffered almost continuously.
All the people of Pakistan are already coming together in the spirit
of humanitarianism and internationalism to help our Pushtun brothers
and sisters. Closing our doors to them and refusing to help to
alleviate one of the worst man made disasters is akin to the social
murder of the Pushtuns.
Don't forget the ethnic "chauvinism" of Punjab government as well, who is also unwilling to allow Swatis to enter Punjab.

Pashtuns really are paying heavy price for supporting religious fundamentalism. Even today if you ask most of those IDPs about their ordeal, they blame government of Pakistan and show soft corner for Taliban fanatics.

I agree that everyone should help them. But disagree that they should help them for being "Pashtuns", but because they are the victims of Taliban fanatics.
The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Movement (JSQM) has announced a strike against .
before we go on starting commenting and debating on this as if some major force of sindh is against this or pathan brothers i would like to clarify something here.
this strike call is given by JSQM (aresar group)
What is JSQM: it is a kind of breakawayfaction of mother party which was lead by Late GM syed and atleast to date there are atleast 30-50 groups with different names.
amount of support they have in sindh: none to my knowledge they dont have a single candidate contesting elections.
these guys are criminals by nature starting from universities, they live on bhattas, car snatching and other petty crimes and new ones are land grabbings.
so please dont bother debating dont give them a position they dont deserve there is no reason for it just spit on their faces and names that should be enough for them....
as for MQM i would say this arrange the elections in impartial environment with full force of law and then they would know how much they are worth i can bet they cannot win half of the seats they have now.
now why this all started ANP HAte:
it was because ANP got two seats from khi and MQM cant digest it, in last govt what they worked for to decrease the power of PPP benefit of it went to ANP i guess, they made changes in constituencies etc all around khi and hyderabad to get themselves favourable position but i guess it didnt work....
What of the ethnic chauvinism of PML-N, the most popular party in punjab? The one that was born from Zia's belly, the same Zia who gave rise to jihadism among pashtuns.
LAHORE: The leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML)-N Mian Nawaz Sharif said the doors of Punjab are open for Swat affectees.Addressing a meeting for settlement of Swat affectees, Nawaz Sharif said preventing any Pakistani to enter another province is unjust. “ Prohibiting affectees to enter another province is a violation of basic fundamental rights and national interests,” Sharif added.
at least PML-N realizes their mistake, i haven't heard any statemtent like this from MQM.
LAHORE: The internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Swat and Malakand division should rely on the relief camps set up for their welfare, rather than turning to neighbouring provincial governments for help, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Monday.
During a meeting with Pakhtoonkhwah Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai, however, he said the IDPs are welcome in Punjab, a private TV channel reported. “We (PML-N) believe in reviewing the current distribution of natural resources within the provinces of the country. This would not only improve the relationship between the federation and the provinces, but would also rule out misunderstandings between the provinces,” he added. During the meeting, Nawaz also urged the government to conduct an impartial and independent judicial inquiry into the killings of Baloch leaders, saying this was the only way to heal the wounds of the people. Following the meeting, Achakzai invited Nawaz to visit Balochistan, saying Balochistan and all its fraternities should be included into the mainstream. daily times monitor/staff report

i am sure if you do it right direction it wont come on the face.
stop doing dramay bazi , there are honorable ways to disagree as well one doent need go on rampage killing people, burning buses and target a whole ethnic group in the disguise of being anti taliban and we karachites know agenda, take your crap somewhere else.
atleast 7 people have lost their lives since your covert strikes...
i am sure one day PPP sindh govt would be sick of this and then we will see how many strikes they would call.
me doing dramay bazi, it is you who is doing dramay bazi. Again Punjab government run by Sharif brothers is the first one to deny entry to displaced persons. But you are either blind or deliberately close your eyes because it looks bad. What is not right for Sindh is also not right for Punjab to behave like idiots.
