Ethical?

You are in the hospital. The lady beside you is being taken to the operation theatre for surgery. Before leaving she gives you her mobile and asks you to ans the calls and tell them that she has gone to the bathroom and not to mention anything about her being gone for surgery cause she doesn’t want her kids to worry.
Would you do it?Is it ethical to do it?

Re: Ethical?

If that's what she wants, I think it's fine. She may have her reasons to not worry them.

Re: Ethical?

Its you who has to lie though.

Re: Ethical?

Tell her candidly you cant keep the mobile. Or else lie.

Re: Ethical?

if you take the responsibility then .. you gotta lie ... dont matter if its a kid or elder .. its still lying .. unless lying is considered good which i doubt ...

and if you knw ur gona av ta lie then dont take the fone ...tell the lady ..that you cant lie ..

and just for a teeny tiney percent lets say .. she doesnt make it back from the surgery .. i mean the bathroom then whose gona tell wht happend to the old lady .. who left you her fone .. your gona hav to lie about it even more or you could be in for a treat ..the relatives asking why u ddnt tell

Re: Ethical?

I took the phone..didnt receive the 1st few calls and then later on told them the truth.
I thought they would pray for her so tht would benefit her.

wise choice ..good good :D

Re: Ethical?

lol you are messing up with the lady. when she returns, pass on the phone and act as if you are deaf and dumb:p
