Earlier today, Autoblog launched its first virtual-reality car buying experience for iPad, iPhone and Android users (the latter of which will be able to access the app tomorrow). Autoblog 360](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/autoblog-360/id717348482) uses the accelerometer inside your device to let you virtually interact with a car.
Right now, the app only includes luxury vehicles, but in November, it will expand to include all 2014 models. Later this year, you’ll be able to schedule test drives from the app, with dealers bringing these cars right to your doorstep. That service will first roll out in two test markets, Miami and Dallas, before hitting the rest of the US.
Autoblog 360](http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/autoblog-360/id717348482) lets users mimic the in-car experience, allowing you to zoom-in on details throughout the vehicle. Moving the tablet or phone lets you look around the car, peek into the back seats, check out the glovebox or look more closely at the finish on door paneling. There are even hot spots inside which, when selected, show more information including power figures, fuel economy data, sticker price and more. Head over to the iTunes store to check it out for yourself.Autoblog launches 360 app that puts users in driver’s seat originally appeared on Autoblog on Mon, 14 Oct 2013 18:16:00 EST.
