ive always heard the first borns come late… though ive seen them come on time with a few of my friends… and some even before!
mine was 11 days over and i was to be induced teh next day… seedhi tarha sharafat se he started his arrival preps the night before which i was thankful for!
i dont know bout this next one… they say teh 2nd ones come on time since ure body is used to it… im already doen cooking… cant imagine her being late like her bro… ima strangle her when she does arrive

I am my mother's first born and I am told I was about 2 weeks late.

I heard the same thing.... first babies come late, but I went into labour 9 days before my due date and gave birth 8 days before

my nani had all her 8 kids the day she hit the 37th week .
my own mom too.
what bout the myth taht boys are usually late.. and girls are on time..

39 weeks. I got internally checked at my appt the day before and it jumpstarted things quite a bit. I was 3.5 cms dilated but wasnt feeling anything but the check speeded things up a bit, lol.

Khawa.. I am totally ignoring the myth for boys come late and girls come early!!!
looks like most girls did make it between 37 and EDD!! I will update this thread later when my baby arrives!
DC6.. hehehe yeah I am having issues with that too.. but its okay, it's manageable :D

My baby came at 40 weeks on my due date.
One of my sis had both her kids on their due-dates too!
My other sis had her three kids at exactly 40 weeks too.

My first was exactly a week late.
And about delivering at 37 weeks.... you remember how miserable I was with the last one and kept hoping he would come early. Actually not even hoping I was dead sure he would be early and I would be free to eat and live normally again. Well that turned out to be my wishful thinking and he had to be induced at 39 weeks.

Mine came five weeks early, but that wasn’t due to labor.
In my family a lot of first babies seem to come early. And late.

My girl came exactly 43 minutes before due date .She was born on November 17th and her time was 11:17 pm:)

mine was born at 40 weeks and 4 days... i was due to be induced at 41 weeks but he decided to make his appearance on his own AH.
