Essex Cricketer Admits He Did Spot Fixing

Essex Cricketer Merven Westfield has admitted that he was involved in corruption, by taking 6000 British pounds, for giving certain amount runs in specific over during Essex’ Pro40 match against Durham in 2009.

He will be sentenced on February 10 as he becomes the first English cricketer to be involved in Cricket corruption, more precisely Spot-fixing.

It is pertinent to mention here that Westfield is the same guy who was arrested along with Danish Kaneria after spot-fixing was suspected. Kaneria, however, was released later.

So now where is English Media?
