Cricinfo the leading cricket website has been aquired by ESPN. Interestingly cricinfo was aquired by Wisden 4 years ago. Hope this lays to rest the accusation that the website is biased towards Indians.![]()

In another significant landmark in its evolution, Cricinfo has been acquired by ESPN, the global sports media powerhouse. The acquisition was announced by ESPN and the Wisden Group earlier this morning.
Re: ESPN acquires CricInfo
What has the acquisition got to do with their bias or neutrality?
Like many others on this forum, I don’t particularly blame cricinfo for their bias towards India. We all know that the majority in their administration and reporting roster comprises of Indians… and hence their proclivities are understandable.
Re: ESPN acquires CricInfo
Even if Cricinfo is acquired by CNN/Time Warner...it will remain an "Indian" website in the minds of Pak guppies here and the Bangalis over at the Bangla forum.
Re: ESPN acquires CricInfo
No offense to my fellow Pak guppies here...but PCB should open a rival website called "CricTamasha" ~ well suited to their own adventures.
We will all log into it then to see the unbiased converage of cricket and PCB's latest blunders.

Well whoever acquires Cricinfo, can he change Mr Khatyawaala's, Prem-Doordarshan, Rajesh LottaKundan's from match reports or their Expert views on Pak's cricket, PCB which they constantly try to feed theough a site that almost every cricket fan on this planet visits?>???
Till that day comes, people (bangali+Pakistani+Srilankan) will think of it as site that expresess Indian mentality.
Re: ESPN acquires CricInfo
I agree
PCB should have its own website for an indepth coverage of not only the International matches but also providing coverage of the domestic club cricket scene in Pakistan.
