Mirch is right ! It is easyto simplify one's liveswhen one can differentiate between one's wants and ones needs . However the question arises isthat its not about a single person but the fact that his decision to s"simplify" his life affects those around him and those dependant on him! You cannot enforce your definition of what you want and what you need on another individual because there are things that may just be a want to you but is a need to someone else !
Secondly even though one may wanna simplify one's life , one still needs the bare essentials and nowadays even acquiring that involves being part of the rat race to some extent. The ONLY alternative in my mind would be to leave all worldly associtaions and go live "The Simple Life " in a far flung village in a remote corner of Pakistan where you could probably contribute and do some good and at the same time remove the stresses of life.
Pink am used to , its the limit of my understanding .. i only have a limited amount of brain cells
am sure i ll agree with you , i will read it. although i ve heard of the rat race term before but not looked into it much.

I know there is difference between wants and needs, but needs are expensive too these days and what if people around you don’t want simple life? and you still have to work for health insurance, retirement funds, car insurance and what if a person has medical bills, student loans and stuff.
^I know, but I don’t see anyone posting any ideas
People people…get back to work, sheyn and I need answers on how not to get involved in this rat race.
