Here is my approach

This is what I wrote in 1989, your chachi was in crib and you were not even born
(I dont do things in English, apni zubaan urdu. Yo umay have to write it in urdu first to read it properly)

This is just first two stanza, can post the whole thing some other time

MaiN to aaNsoo’on kay safar main hooN
MaiN to raah-e-deeda-e-tar main hooN
Mujhay dhoondnay koo’ee kiyaa chalay
Main to khud, khudee kay safar main hoon

Kabhee dhool maiN, kabhee Khaak maiN
Kabhee taar-e-daaman-e-chaak main
Mujhay mill gaa’eeN meri manzilaiN
youNhee aalam-e-bebaak maiN

good thing: u have realization of wats ur purpose in this world is, which perhaps many of us lack.

bad thing: second stanza should come before the first one.
is safer k khatum honay ka intezar mut kege ga. yeh safer to her aik ka safer hai, albata ag-a-heya bhut kum logoon ko hoti, ya phir hoti hai to waqt nahi hota.

so i say stop on poetry…n MOVE ON!!!

ps. meray acha lagnay ya na lagnay say kuch ferk nahi perta. yahan bhut saray app ko pazerai day saktay hain.

jis nay mujhay buneya

Good observation about second stanza. Actualy second stanza is the fourth one in whole Nazm. I will post it soon in Potery section

Escape to a place

where the nights were darker .. days were brighter ..

evenings clearer, quieter than quiet ..

time passed slowly and moments were longer... when things were real and were valued much higher

there was a sense of weight in every object that life carried.. colors were never neon.. only rich and lush extracted from nature

disease meant actual pain ., death was totally uncontrolable..

where hearts beat with rhythm of feelings .. when feelings existed with less confusion.. food wasnt your biggest rival.

and the ruffles of pure cotton made a sound on the unpaved streets ...

i hate the industrial revolution
