what should i do???

Re: error messages

The driver for ur HP imaging device is messed up, I'd suggest un-installing & re-installing.

Re: error messages

besides that what else? I still keep getting the svchost.exe application error....it is so annoying...it freezes up my computer.....like some of the things will stop working

Try the following. Its a long list but this should fix your masla. Has to with Windows update

  3. Click on the Log On tab, please ensure the option “Local System account” is selected and the option “Allow service to interact with desktop” is unchecked.

  4. Check if this service has been enabled on the listed Hardware Profile. If not, please click the Enable button to enable it.

  5. Click on the tab "General "; make sure the “Startup Type” is “Automatic”. Then please click the button “Start” under “Service Status” to start the service.

  6. Repeat the above steps with the other service: Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)

Step 4: Re-register Windows Update components and Clear the corrupted Windows Update temp folder

  1. Click on Start and then click Run,
  2. In the open field type “REGSVR32 WUAPI.DLL” (without quotation marks) and press Enter.

Re: error messages

:smack: It is likely that a component of the Windows XP digital signatures process is damaged

  1. First to clean the temp files: Click Internet Options on the Tools menu in Internet Explorer.
On the General tab, click the Delete Files button and then click OK in the small window that appears.
Now click the OK button, close Internet Explorer.

  2. And now lets re-register some DLL files. sounds like fun, eh  ? Onwards and upwards!
Click Start menu, and then click the Run icon.
In the small box that Opens, type the three letters: cmd then click the OK button.

In the command prompt window that just opened (a black background and white text), type the following commands, pressing the ENTER key on your keyboard after each line:
net start cryptsvc
regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll
regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll

Now type the word: exit and the window will close. Now Reboot. This should solve your problem :biggthumb goodluck
