I have no idea how old you are or how long you have been sexually active, but even if you were not pregnant, you should still have annual pelvic exams and pap smears which is the earliest way to detect cervical cancer.
As for hygiene, as others said…OB/GYNs and nurses have seen it all. Just make sure you’re clean. If you can shave yourself or get your husband to help you do it, then I’d recommend that. If you’re not shaved, the nurses will do it if you end up needing a c-section…not 100% sure if they do it for natural births. If you want to minimize the time people spend “down there”, making sure you’re shaved before you get to the hospital is one way to do it.
