**Former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has ruled himself out of the running to become Sweden coach, the Swedish Football Association has announced.**BBC Sport revealed on Monday the Notts County director of football, 61, was in the frame to succeed Lars Lagerback.
But Swedish FA president Lars-Ake Lagrell has now stated Eriksson wishes to focus on his role at Meadow Lane.
“We’ve had good discussions but there’s no possibility of him taking charge of the national team now,” said Lagrell.
