Not that everyone deserves a second chance.
But that God gives everyone a second chance. At least in the story of Jonah he did.
And by Jesus' sayings he does.
And I am not able to quote Islam.
But I'm pretty sure Islam teaches the same.

Oh yeah. If you are talking about salvation, then yes. You have that option available before this life ends. As they say in Urdu, "Toba key darwazey hameisha khuley rehtey hein".
However, once this life is over, khallaaas... its all over.... Then its either this way or that way.
