I feel fat

I am not a morning person; I think I tend to be quieter at that time of day. So, one morning I wake up to get ready for work and I go about the routine (ironing, changing, making my bed, breakfast, etc) without talking to anyone; not my parents…not even to myself. I drive all the way to work in silence. I walk to my classroom in complete silence. I start getting ready for class in silence but it wasn’t long before I had to speak to someone (maybe a student or faculty member, can’t remember)…and nothing came out. I had no voice, no sound. It was my first-ever bout with laryngitis. I hoarsely whispered to an admin member that I had no voice and a substitute was arranged for while I drove myself all the way back home. In silence. :\

Moral of the tale: exercise your voice before heading out for work.

RV and quiet.. that is a lil hard to imagine.

I think it’s easier to be more expressive online. In real life, I am shier. It takes me a while to get comfortable with people, especially in a group setting.
