epilator for maxium solution

crisis.
i’m moving out of pakistan in
a few weeks, i have a very regular body wax routine here because lets just say i need it.
i dont know how long it will be until i can find a reasonable waxing solution once i move hence i’m looking for an excellent top of the line epilator as a backup.
any input?
thanks!!!

Braun silk epil range!:biggthumb:

Re: epilator for maxium solution

Braun! Get the one for wet & dry... being able to use it in the shower is brilliant :)

Re: epilator for maxium solution

dolphinz have you tried the dry n wet one yourself?

Re: epilator for maxium solution

I have it, hurts a lot...

Re: epilator for maxium solution

Yes I bought mine about 3 years ago. I use it in the shower for my underarms, so quick and easy and not even that painful!

Re: epilator for maxium solution

^ wow i didnt even know there are epilators safe to use in the shower! how much did yours cost? I have the phillips one.. it works fine but its not one you can use in the shower.
I've tried epilating my underarms but i find it really hurts after i do it.. if i lift my arm, i feel a burning type of pain in that area :S anyone else experience the same?

Re: epilator for maxium solution

I dont use epiliator all over, I wax strips first and then use epiliator for minor ones. I think this combination works best because wax works quickly and less painfully for longer hair, and it takes ages to wax smaller hairs...epiliator works better for those

Re: epilator for maxium solution

afogirl if you can tell us where you're moving then probably girls in that location can help you out

Re: epilator for maxium solution

Umm if I remember correctly, at the time mine was £99 on Amazon, but during one of their sales I managed to get it for £40 :)
I know what you mean about the underarms - the first time I tried it (having previously shaved for a few years) it was bleeding and I was crying and it was not a pretty sight! Though I perservered and trust me it does get ALOT easier over time - the key is to obv not let the hairs grow too long. If the burning sensation persists, I find that holding an ice pack to it (or a bag of frozen peas :P ) does help.
