ISLAMABAD: Former director health, Rasheed Jumma in his testimony given to Anti Narcotics Forces in Ephedrine case confessed that he granted the quota for Ephedrine on pressure from Ali Musa Gilani, Makhdoom Shahbuddin and Khushnood Lashari.
In the testimony, whose copy has been obtained by Geo News, Rasheed Jumma said a company from Islamabad was granted the quota of 2500 kilograms on Makhdoom Shahabuddin’s word.
The company in Multan was given the quota of 6000 kilograms on the pressure from Ali Musa Gilani and Khushnood Lashari, the four-page confession said.
It said it was a fact that two pharmaceutical companies were illegally granted the Ephedrine quota.
Ali Musa Gilani, Makhdoom Shahbuddin and Khushnood Lashari are some of the superstars of the glittering story of national success that we all relish so thankfully. Entire nation should come out openly in their favour and hang the accusers by lampposts who dare cast aspersions on our holy stars. Enough is enough!
