I just listened to the new Jal vocalist, Aadat (deep blue version). Oh my God it was the most painful vocals I have heard in a long time. This guy doesn't have the voice to pull the song off, and he is trying to copy Akif's style. I don't see a bright future for Jal until Akif can get back together.
Any recommendations for songs by Aaroh and Noori?
^dude u heard the wrong track by the original band...aap ko bikhra hoon mein sunna chahiye...the extended version of aadat and the most downloaded and heard song on the net when it came out.
aaroh: naa kaho, jalan (a must hear track specially the tabla type chord the guitarist nabeel plays near the end), jiyaay, sawaal
noori: jaa re, gaana no.1, neend aaye na, tum hans diyay(nice drums on this track)

His name is Atif Aslam not Akif.
Deep blue version of Aadat is sung by Atif Aslam(original Jal vocalist who sang original Aadat).
As someone said, Jal (now Gohar, Farhan and Shazi) has an extended version of Aadat in their album. Its called Bikhra hoon mein. Its a classic addition in their shop. However vocals could have been better in the album over all. Farhan lacks expressions in his singing.

Oh I am sorry. My bad. You're right the vocals are seriously lacking. Atif Aslam was perfect. Also I do find it slightly annoying that one song has been adapted into so many different versions on more than one album.
