سانگھڑ کے قریب ایک گاؤں میں ہمارے دادا کے محصول چونگی اور آموں کے باغات کے ٹھیکے ہوتے تھے. ہم چونک ولی احدجو ٹھرے اور وہ بھی بگڑے ہوے. لاہور کے ریلوے سٹیشن پرریل کے ڈبے میں اپنی پہلی سالگرہ کا کیک کاٹتے ہوے اپنی سلطنت کی سیر کا رختِ سفر باندھنا آج بھی یاد ہے.
نام نہاد سلطنت تو یاد نہیں مگر اُس گھر کے کُھلاے وسیع میدان میں ٹاٹ کی بوری پہ بیٹھ کر گنے چُوپنا یاد ہے.
سنا ہے اگر ہمارے تایا سے لاہور کی رجسٹری نہ گم ہوتی آج ہم نے شریفوں کو اپنی بھینسوں کا گویا صاف کرنے کی نوکری دی ہوتی.
صحت کو ملحوضِ خاطر رکھتے ہوے ڈاکٹر صاحب نے ہفتہ میں 2 کشتیاں مناسب فاصلے سے دیکھنے کا الاج تجویز کیا. اماں ابا کے منع کرنے کے باوجود 3 سال کی عمر میں سکول جانا شروع کیا اور اسکول جاتے ہوے رونا ہی انہی دنوں سیکھا.
سونے کی دیگوں کی تقسیم سے شروع ہونے والی لڑائی نے ہنستے بستے گھر کو آگ لگادی.
