Enzyme Peels

Has anyone ever used enzyme peels? Any reviews, suggestions?

Also, anyone use this one in particular? Sephora: AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel: Scrubs & Exfoliants

Hey Sumo,

I haven’t used the AmorePacific peel. BUT, I have used Juice Beauty fruit enzyme peel from Sephora. It was about $50.00 and a total waste of money because it made me break out.

If you’re looking to get glowing skin through a chemical peel, then I suggest you consult either a dermatologist or a professional aesthetician. A professional chemical peel done by a dermatologist will cost you around 45-100 dollars which is around about what you’d pay for a chemical peel product from Sephora. Chemical Peels DO work…and they not only make your skin glow but also fade out blemishes. However…a trained professional can assess your skin and determine the right chemical peel and appropriate strength of the peel for your particular skin. I think I paid around $50-75 for a chem peel at the derm’s clinic…and the results were very effective. I’ve heard from 2 derms that desi skin does not respond well to certain treatments and products. So…see a doc…trained professional…and get the best chem peel for your skin.
