Sometimes we have environmetal issues to discuss, for example this article:

It would be nice if we had a separate forum for it, as it does not fit cleanly either in “Science & Technology” or in “World Affairs”. Moreover, having a separate Environment forum will bring environmental issues to more guppies’ awareness, hopefully making a difference in our surroundings/ choices/ consumption patterns etc. 
Please consider it.
I would think those type of topics would fit ok in Lifestyles or Science & Technology rather than having a dedicated forum.
I disagree. Environment is related to personal choices (lifestyles) and science & technology, but it also touches upon many other aspects, e.g., business interests, political will, international treaties, activism, social impact, economic fallout, health, etc.
Moreover, having all environment-related threads in one place, without them being obscured by other threads, will help guppies keep tabs on the latest environmental trends and news.
