i am getting married inshallah in feb 2010 in karachi..
i have some questions regarding wedding day so if someone can help me out
on wedding day…when i get ready from the parlour than should go home first or directly to the wedding venue…
well i have seen in some wedding fims like the groom is on stage and the bride is making entrance so i want to know does the groom reach the wedding venue before the bride or wat…or if the bride goes first than should she wait for the groom to make his entrace on stage first and if she wait than where does she stays…

You should go to the wedding hall straight after the parlour. Most halls have a bridal room for the bride to sit separately.
The bride and groom are separate because the Nikah happens separately. The bride joins her husband after the Nikah, just like weddings here.

you usually go from the parlor to the hotel/hall....(wait in the bridal suite until everyone has arrived)
bride is last one to arrive...from what i have seen...

oh ok...so if i book a hall in karachi so should i ask the wedding planner to arrange a sepeate place for me...so i should wait until the baraat comes and than make the entry...

There is always a separate place for the bride to sit till she makes her grand entrance. The parlours usually call in the brides at 3:00pm and get them ready till 7pm. The bride then goes off to the studio for her photo shoot or to the separate bridal room at the venue for her photo session. She waits till the elders decide that it is the appropriate time to make her appearance.

does it takes 4 hours at the saloon. i am planning to go to sabs so do you have any idea how long does she takes
thanks mahi..i know its sound like stupid but actually i never attend any desi wedding in my life....
mahi can you also help me for 1 more thing... i want some pics of decor..like stage, marquee, tables and chairs at the wedding.
