So apparently all the guys are obsessed with this show..

in my opinion most movies and tv shows (including bollywood movies), if not blatantly haram are on the verge of haram..

However, what i’ve noticed is that our young men seem to idolize shows like entourage…where money, cursing and womanizing is the epitome of success…

i hate the show.

I wonder why women liked Sex and the city...... I bet 98% will tell you "the fashions" but erm.....idk.

I don't like Entourage and I don't like Sex and the City. I didn't even like Dirty Sexy Money.

Just listening to all these bad tv shows makes me feel dirty. I need to take a shower and then pray 20 naffil because I read the names.

Entourage used to be funny/good once upon a time. the last couple of seasons have been pretty lame.

they need to give more time to ppl like Drama, Sloan, etc and for very different reasons. need to see much more of Sloan - especially when she wears those amazing evening dresses.

Icicle1, epitome of success should be judged individually, I'm not sure you can blame the entertainment industry for people being sheep.

For me anyways, this is how me and my friends interact with each other. We make fun of each other, mess around. That's what appeals to guys. It's just like your group of friends hanging out, except we don't have the nice cars and women throwing themselves at us. But I might be different in this regard as most of my friends are western (white, yugo, black etc). Why do you say that they're womanizing? Yes, there are only about 2 or 3 strong female characters but it's a show for guys so what do you expect? As for what men aspire to, yes that's exactly true. Like it or not, by nature, men want power which makes them more suitable mates. This, in our society, is money and fame. The same thing applies to desi societies. Why do our parents brag about their sons and daughters being engineers and doctors and lawyers? Because there is prestige and wealth associated with those professions. As for cursing, I suppose it depends on how your household but pretty much everyone I know does curse from time to time. And guys on entourage curse about as much as most guys would. Except Ari, he's on a whole other level :) The show is just a half hour to sit back and have fun. I know personally, my school work being as intense as it is, I look forward to watching Entourage where I can just turn off my brain and chill.

Yeh, I saw episodes of some of them for my media class. No harm innit? Us tarah tu I have even seen Juno for film class and that was one crappy movie. :/
