Many areas of India do not recognise Central Government's lawas and rules anyway. With some areas virtually a no go for the Indian army. Then they hold fake elections just to please Washington. India is basically a virtual country based on fanatical religious laws.

The NAM is a waste of time. The organization no longer is valid as it is no longer a bi-polar world. So where is the alignment? Asif K there is no NAM agenda. There never has been. As for the CE and his agenda. All leaders have done so. Some more consistantly than others. The CE has been by far the most consistant publically.

Poor Musharraf has forgotten that in Nepal ABV asked him to get matured!
[/QUOTE]
Yes, it's really mature to act like a toddler and rip up your speech!
Musharraf outmaneuvred Veggie Pie at Nepal.... the elderly gent's comments were born out of frustration at his own inability to come out on top - let alone come out of his seat.
At the time he was in his chair, i believe VP was in awe of the CE's speech and his oratory abilities. Plus doesnt he look a bit green with envy in the picture?
(Pakis have ignored some points,…off course their leader has no scope to get matured))
“Musharraf was so stung by Vajpayee’s counter-attack that he raised his hand seeking right of reply. To the Pakistani delegation’s embarrassment, Malaysia ignored this. Later, the Pakistanis went to the NAM secretariat to insist on a right to reply.”
Well aint that smart. Iraq is being attacked. Muslims are having problems around the world and you want the sole Islamic military power to make it worse by starting a war. Thank Allah you aint power. Right now we need to lay low and relax. Wait till Iraq is over and when there is peace we take kargil again
If it is no longer valid then why did Mr. Skillful and masterful :hehe: go there ?? To waste his time ?? Well that’s what he did, ignored the agenda and started crying like he does in every International meet :rotfl:
Just because Mr. Skilful and masterful didn’t address the agenda does not mean there wasn’t one, Here is it, Please read it and pass it on to Mr. Skilful and masterful :- http://www.namkl.org.my/nam/frnamprovisional.html
Thank you :hehe: Now tell Mr. skilful and Mr. masterful to devote some time on reading the actual agenda and not the personal one.
CM is right. NAM is a BIG waste of time for Pakistan just like the UN. And just like the UN, NAM does not address daily concerns and issues Pakistanis have - in particular Kashmir.
I have great respect for our President Musharraf, but he should really consider widthdrawing Pakistan from NAM.
CM, Why dont you answer one simple question - If NAM is not relevant and has not done anything in the past, then why does Mr. Skilful and Mr. Masterful even go there ?? What is the point in wasting his time, effort and Taxpayers’ hard earned money on something which has no significance ??
Anyways since you refused to read the links I provided here is it NAM’s Purpose :-
***..to ensure “the national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of non-aligned countries” in their “struggle against imperialism, colonialism, neo-colonialism, apartheid, racism, including Zionism, and all forms of foreign aggression, occupation, domination, interference or hegemony as well as against great power and bloc politics”. * **
Did you hear what South African president Thabo Mbeki said in his speech at UN in 1999 as Chairman of NAM, Here is part of it :-
“The NAM has a proud history of struggle in the pursuit of peace and against colonialism. Through our solidarity we have been able to record major advances and have at last succeeded in ending the long nightmare of colonialism. We have emerged into a new post Cold War era where power still continues to determine the pattern of international relations” http://www.anc.org.za/ancdocs/history/mbeki/1999/tm0923.html
And yeah NAM is 50 years old :hehe: - tells a lot about your knowledge of NAM.
PS:- Go and read more kid, and dont insult 2 year olds, even they know more than you.

Malik Ji, lookslike you have touched a ‘raw’ nerve with these Indians by posting this topic They are all out in force to defend their ‘Muslim Burning Leader’
Even Chaltahai and Asif_K have taken time out from the feedback forum to post in this topic
andha_qanoon ironically that is my nickname at college.
Anyway i will reply why the CE went to the NAM. Politics is a game of intrigue, subtle gestures and backdoor decision making. NAM is a meeting of nearly 109 nations. Who said the CE went there for the conference itself? He could have been meeting other heads of state for various discussions. It happens at all meetings.
As for 50 years old. It is there abouts. Yugoslavia and Egypt were the founders, with India following afterwards. The meeting in Bandung in Indonesia in the early 50's was seen as the precursor to NAM.
Asif if you wish to get my attention in a flame, please do a proper job at it ok? That was an utterly pathetic attempt to flame. Try better next time.

And looks what happened to Yougoslavia, it does not exist anymore. So much for NAM. Let the Indians have their NAM. Why should Pakistanis care anyway?
