My dear guppies. I am attempting an Independent Study on this broad topic based on musharraf’s speech to OIC in Turkey. I want to limit this to Pakistan’s own perspective. I am in need of your help to limit this topic and get some material online to prepare a Research Proposal to be submitted in a couple of days. I would be thankful if you come up with your ideas.
Thanks.
You want copy paste or personal opinions ?
Personal opinions ofcourse :-)
It is the need of the hour for Muslim Ummah in general and Pakistan in particular. But most pakistani wont subscribe to the idea, because mostly we are emotional people. We are habitual of making emotional decesion individually and as a nation.
Mostly we are not at ease with concept of moderation. We think Moderation means bieng secular and bieng secular is un-islamic. So morderation ~ unislamic. While extremeism is Islamic.
Any moderate islamic state (if any) is actually thought as under jewish control.
In my view Independent thinking is the heart of Enlightened Moderation . What is in our benefit ? As an individual and as a nation ? Minimizing the emotions of hate, love friendship. etc

Thanks code red for your version and I do appreciate your input. Yes fundamentally we are at fault for dealing with our foes and that is probably too sarcastic on our part. We dont make friends and instead make enemies out of friends…:k:
