It's not that you aren't allowed to know about them. It's just that if you didn't see them, then don't worry about it. They have been deleted already. So if you happen to read one before it's deleted, good for you, it's not something moderators would answer your inquiry for.

Mera mood theek hota hai, lekin aajkal mera smilies use karney ka mood nahi hai. Lekin iska yeh matlab hargiz nahi hota k just because I don't use smilies, I am in a bad mood :)

To answer your question in general: Some people started daring their friends and those people opened some inappropriate threads that contained indecent language and/or discussions. Since that was purely because of a dare, it was annoying because people took those threads seriously and offered their opinions only to find out they were just dares.
Here’s an example:
Friend A: I dare you to open a thread where you say my parents are forcing me to get married to a 50 years old guy.
Friend B: OK. (Friend B opens a thread)
Now of course people start giving sincere advice thinking Friend B is really in trouble and they feel sorry for her. After the thread gets a few replies, Friend B says "Sorry people, it was just a dare thread. It’s a lie and it is not really happening".
