enlarged tonsils but cause no issue. what to do

I need opinion who has same issue or went through same issue.

My daughter has large tonsils. They dont cause her any issues like infection or breathing. my son had sleep apneo and i had his removed whereas my daughter has no issue at all. she does take more time to eat but she is also fussy eater too. sometimes i do feel she might have issues eating and/or makes funny noises. she is gaining weight.

my sons ENT doctor said he does not and will not remove hers as she can grow out of it, has no issue and surgery has its own side affect.

Her ENT said same but gave me option of surgery to get rid of them.

honestly i dont know what to do. Hubby asked me to decide. I am just concerned if she doesnt grow out of them than?

No reason to remove them so long as there is no infection. She will outgrow them by the age of 10 or so. Happened with our son as well, and many 'non-doctors' advised us to get rid of them, since it is commonly done in Pakistan for little or no reason, as an easy money making opportunity. Doctors in the west are more objective, and advise against operation if not needed. So if the doctor says no, then Id suggest to go with the doctor.

Thank you, this is wat I wanted to hear. I was just concerned what if she doesnt.
I have talked to another ENT and he said to wait and see.
