English weather

I had to go out of the office. Instead of taking the car…I thought that I would take a 15 minutes walk to the place where I needed to go. As soon I finished my appointment and started walking back to the office…it started pouring down with rain.

My trouser is drenched in water. My shirt is drenched and clinging to body. You can even see my body. My shoes are wet. My socks are wet.

Re: English weather

walk into a blow dryer :o

Re: English weather

and how is your chair now ? :bummer:

Re: English weather

yup this is English weather for you

Re: English weather

Totally wet…it is still raining outside. I am trying to dry myself in front of a heater.. If not I may have to go home and change my cloths.

Re: English weather

But it is a leather chair anyway.....so I can wipe it clean.

Re: English weather

wont the water ruin the leather?

Re: English weather

No I don't think so....it's like plastic.....water cannot penetrate through it.

Re: English weather

hmm okay

Re: English weather

maza a geya ......................... hehehe

Re: English weather

shud have taken an umbrella with you :snooty:

Re: English weather

I saw a few ladies walking past me with umbrella's giggling. I had to cross a road and this motorist stopped his car to let me cross the road as he could see that I totally drenched in water.

Re: English weather

First of all I did not know that it was going to rain…secondly I am not a big fan of umbrellas.

Re: English weather

Reminds me of the song by Travis:

Why does it always rain on me
Is it because I lied when I seventeen
(or somethiung like that)

Re: English weather

I don't think I lied when I was 17...or at least I don't remember:).

Anyway Sweetpips how are you doing...have not chatted with you for ages....are not coming to London no more?

Re: English weather

Getting drenched in the rain has totally ruined my day.:hoonh:

Re: English weather

sounds like Dutch weather..:hehe:

Re: English weather

I went to London last month...but didn't get to really see much as the first time was at wedding. Wedding was cool, groom got into a fight.

Second time I went to drop my brother off at Uni.

Re: English weather

You are probably right. I mentioned to someone that I would like to go to The Netherlands on a holiday and they suggested that I avoid it as the weather is similar to here.

Re: English weather

I guess you have not heard back from the big law firms.
