My fiance is coming to America soon and well just wanting to know if there are any places in Islamabad where you can kind of improve your spoken english. Don’t get me wrong he is well educated, but I saw somewhere on TV that there are training schools where they teach you to pick up the british, Australian or american accent. This seems to be beneficial for anyone coming abroad. As it improves job prospects espacially if the can speak fluently in aus/amer/ or british accent.
american and canadian accents are different, people :p
i wouldn't worry so much about him learning an accent- chances are he'll pick it up here once he gets here.

yes there are institute in blu area and also NUST and FAST offer courses. but i think NUST and FAST universities offer theselanguage courses and they are for one year but in blue area its for 3 or 6 months. i dont know the name of the institute...
i think there a place calle niml national institute of modern languages or something like that in isb... that should help... but to be honest, i dont think you can learn a language like that he'll pick up the accent in a couple of months anywayz...
