Hi,

I am wondering in Pakistan when learning English either through school, college, university, learning centres do they also teach to adopt an American accent or to speak in their natural accent Pakistan/Indian etc?

there are institutions that teach you american/british english, complete with accent. these days not only do you learn the accent from english medium school, kids also pick accents from watching television

They tell you how to pronounce most of the words, basically. The rest is a cultural adaption to you. Based on my thorough observation. Also depends on your mother tongue.

I didnt know Pakistani medium schools were wasting their money on such thing.

But its good to know. lol
