England vs World XI

**LONDON: New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming has been named captain of the Rest of the World side to play England in two-match Power Cricket series at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on October 4 and 5.

Each limited-over match will be staged under floodlights on an artificial ‘magic carpet’ pitch. Sky Sports Television will be broadcasting both games live.

Joining Fleming in the matches from New Zealand will be Shane Bond and Nathan Astle, while other players in the side are: Muttiah Muralitharan (Sri Lanka), Shoaib Akhtar (Pakistan), Azhar Mahmood (Pakistan), Mushtaq Ahmed (Pakistan), Saqlain Mushtaq (Pakistan), Javagal Srinath (India), Mohammad Kaif (India), Dinesh Mongia (India), Aravinda de Silva (Sri Lanka), Courtney Walsh (West Indies), Wasim Akram (Pakistan) and Andy Flower (Zimbabwe).**

Personally, I have never been a fan of allstar matches, they are very boring to watch and the players don’t seem to try hard except a few.

Shouldn’t it be Asia vs World XI.

Man there are alot of Pakistani players in the team, don’t they have anything better to do.

No..Others are not available. !!!
these matches generally depends on who is available.
