Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
Flat track bullies?
Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
You could say that. The Oval is the flattest wicket in England followed by Lord’s. Visiting batsmen generally do well here.
Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
Mammoth score by England.
first day highlights:
Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
Rabada suspended for next match. Accumulated too many penalty points. Not contesting whether what he said merited a penalty. Apparently he used the f word to greet the gentlemanly English all rounder what’s name to the pavilion after getting him out.
Since the Aussies are the masters of sledging, I wonder how many of them have been suspended over the years. And during the same period, how many colored players have received suspensions.

Day 3 - Lunch RSA 323/8 in reply to England’s 458
Not a bad batting effort by South Africa however England hold advantage at the moment.
Remember South Africa are without their two main players AB and Faf
Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
With Faf out, there is no one to run out fellow South African batsmen
Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
4th and final test at Manchester
Lunch - Day 3: England lead by 189 runs with 8 wickets remaining
England have the upper hand. South Africa trailing 1-2, need to win to level the series

Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
Despite a thumping win at Nottingham (2nd test), South African batting has been found wanting in this series.
Pakistan (2-2) performed much better against the same England side last year (that had Woakes as well) and could have won the series 3-1
This series has been boring and one-sided. Even the test Saffers won was pretty one-sided.
Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
My Favorite Team is England… I love it but first Pakistan and than English team.
Re: England vs South Africa Test Series
South Africa duly thrashed 1-3. Batting did not come up to expectations.
However, not so long ago, the same side under Faf and minus AB beat Australia 2-1 in their own backyard
